| The Northwood Outpost office and bunkhouse, for a free overnight stay the night prior to flying, is right on Highway 72, 6 miles before the town of Sioux Lookout. To drive to our office from International Falls, take Hwy #502 to Dryden, turn east on Hwy #17 past Wabigoon to the Sioux Lookout turnoff at Hwy #72. Follow that for about 35 miles and you will see our wooden NORTHWOOD OUTPOSTS sign on the left side of the highway. Your drive will bring you to us through some of the most scenic country in the world. Keep on the lookout for moose, bears, wolves, and other wildlife on your journey.
If you would like to fly to Sioux Lookout by commercial airline, arrange a flight to either Winnipeg, Manitoba or Thunder Bay, Ontario and Bearskin Airlines (1-800-465-2327 or 1-807-737-3473) will fly you right into Sioux Lookout where we will pick you up at the airport. When booking with Bearskin, tell them you are fishermen coming to our outposts and you will get the 'fishermen rate'.
